We accept returns from customers in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and the European Union for both defective and non-defective battery products purchased directly from us within a 30-day return period, subject to the conditions in this policy. You must contact us within 30 days after the date you receive your order to request a return. This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.
Starting a Return
Before sending any product, email info@strikebatteries.com to request return authorisation. Include your order number, the reason for the return and clear photographs of the batteries, their terminals, packaging and any visible issue. Please wait for our return instructions. Returns sent without prior authorisation may be delayed or, where permitted by law, refused.
Return Eligibility and Packaging
New and slightly used batteries are accepted for return, provided they have not been damaged, modified, improperly used or handled unsafely. For a change-of-mind return, the batteries must be returned in their original packaging with all included accessories and documentation. They must be packed securely and in accordance with our instructions and all applicable carrier and dangerous-goods requirements. A missing or damaged original package may affect eligibility for a voluntary change-of-mind return, but it does not remove any rights you have for faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods under applicable law.
Return Postage
If, after assessment, the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect or otherwise qualifies for a seller-paid return under applicable law, we will provide or reimburse reasonable return postage in accordance with our instructions. For change-of-mind returns and returns not caused by a manufacturing defect, the customer is responsible for return postage, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Original or expedited delivery charges will be refunded only to the extent required by applicable law.
Lithium Battery Safety
Do not mail or otherwise ship a battery that is damaged, swollen, leaking, punctured, overheated, modified, recalled, improperly used or otherwise unsafe, or a battery that cannot be packaged safely. Postal and carrier restrictions may prohibit shipment of these batteries, particularly by air or across international borders. Keep the battery away from heat and flammable materials, do not use or charge it, and contact us at info@strikebatteries.com for safety instructions. We may arrange an alternative remedy where return shipment is unsafe or prohibited.
Inspection and Refunds
Once we receive and inspect an authorised return, we will notify you of the outcome. We do not charge a restocking fee for eligible returns. If a refund is approved, we will apply it to the original payment method within 2 business days after approval. Processing times after that may vary by payment provider. Where required by applicable law, refunds will be made within the legally prescribed period. We may reduce or refuse a voluntary change-of-mind refund where the product has been used, damaged, modified, improperly handled or packed contrary to this policy, but only to the extent permitted by law.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. This includes rights under the Australian Consumer Law; applicable federal and state consumer-protection laws in the United States; the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and distance-selling rules; and applicable European Union and national consumer laws, including legal guarantee and withdrawal rights. If this policy conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law applies.
